This adaptation of Tchaikovsky's November from The Seasons is part of Falls House Press's Voyage Unlimited series, a collection of new transcriptions for flute and string quartet or string trio. Voyage Unlimited is a New York nonprofit organization committed to the performance, recording, and publication of new and standard chamber music, headed by native Mississippi flutist and teacher Don Bailey. Bailey recorded many new transcriptions in the Voyage Unlimited series for Summit, which have garnered critical acclaim and worldwide airplay, but they have not been available for public performance until now. Orchestrated by the esteemed Polish pianist Adam Manijak, Bailey's inspired series has helped create exciting new chapter in repertoire for flute and string ensembles.
This was one of a set of twelve pieces entitled The Seasons (1875-76), Opus 37b, commissioned by the magazine Nouvelliste. The moods correspond with the titles of the compositions and the magazine's monthly images. November's 'Troika' has jingling sleigh-bells and whirling notes intended to create an impression of falling snow.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
