Musicians Publications presents Bound for Glory arranged by Arthur Leiby and adapted from the Brass Quintet by Bill Holcombe Jr.
This arrangement is a medley of popular spirituals and traditional American tunes including Deep River , This Train is Bound for Glory , Nobody Knows The Trouble I ve Seen , Joshua Fought The Battle of Jericho , and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot . It incorporates a blues swing feel and includes instruction as to which voice of the ensemble is to lead the melody during each tune. With frequently changing key signatures, this arrangement is a tonal journey, adding variety and excitement to melodies we ve heard our entire lives.
This woodwind quintet is intermediate in difficulty.
