Peter Senchuk presents Koliady, a medley three Ukrainian christmas carols.
The soprano recorder part was originally written for soprano soplika (an ancient end-blown Slavic wooden flute), but since they are not commonly available it is marked for soprano recorder. The part can also be played on piccolo for the concert-flute flute choirs. The alto recorder part was originally written for tenor sopilka, for the same reasons, it is marked for the more commonly available alto recorder (and, of course, can also be played on flute).
Instrumentation: Soprano recorder and alto recorder (or piccolo and flute) soloists, 2 flutes, 2 alto flutes, bass flute, contrabass flute.
