The Trevor James Chanson (also known as the Cantabile) is an ideal ‘Step-up’ flute for the intermediate player. The Chanson has a .958 silver head joint paired with a silver-plated body and keys. This allows for the aspiring flutist to explore different tonal possibilities as they develop their professional sound. The Chanson also comes with a solid heavy weighed crown to help increase the response and produce a more powerful sound.
Every Trevor James Chanson flute standard features include a .958 silver Voce headjoint, silver-plated body and keys, French pointed arms, drawn tone holes, open holes and a B foot with gizmo. Available options include a split-E mechanism and choice of off-set or inline G.
The new Trevor James Voce headjoint has a cast one-piece lip plate and riser (rather than the standard separate lip plate and riser), adding mass and a little extra weight for a responsive and rich, more powerful sound.
