Chamberlain, N :: Valentine
Valentine was composed for Nicole's husband and guitarist Brian Chamberlain for Valentine’s Day. The piece is a simple love letter influenced by her husband’s own writing styles and love ballads from the Renaissance. Nicole and Brian met by their mutual love of flute and guitar duets, and this is a product of Nicole trying to pressure her husband to play duets with her. It’s common knowledge that Brian is the more romantic of the two, but Nicole has her moments even though she would never openly admit it……except here.
Originally for flute and guitar, this arrangement is scored for flute and harp.
