Vallon, M :: Chansons: 5 French Folk Songs
Marc Vallon presents Chansons (or 5 French Folk Songs) for flute doubling piccolo and alto flute, and bassoon.
Though the Chansons are ostensibly simple folk songs, Vallon has turned them into much more; both instruments use clever jumps, techniques, and flourishes - in addition to Vallon's excellent voicings and counterpoint - to create truly riveting miniatures.
Duration: 7'. For advanced players.
