Marina Vologdina presents the first book in her Piccolo Anthology collections. The collections include works of various degrees of complexity created by foreign and domestic composers of different eras - from classics to our contemporaries. Among them are works written especially for the piccolo; arrangements made for piccolo; original works and arrangements for a large flute, suitable for piccolo in character and tessiturate and sounding great and bright on it; and ensemble music using piccolo flute. Generally, however, most music (unless otherwise stated) is for piccolo and piano.
