This collection contains 15 studies that make use of techniques that have been gained through experience. They also offer opportunities for personal interpretation. Most aspects of flute playing are covered in the wide range of styles presented in this book, and each study requires specific skills such as fingering technique, breath control, tone quality, articulation, phrasing and dynamic contrast. The varying approaches used provide an excellent means to broaden the musical experience of the developing flutist. The book comes with a demo CD of Franco Cesarini performing all works in their entirety.
