It is with great enthusiasm that The Royal Conservatory presents Overtones: A Comprehensive Flute Series. It is hoped that this groundbreaking series will address the need for a single collection of quality educational materials to foster musical development and instill appreciation of the richness and diversity of music written for flute. The series is built on the premise of nurturing well-rounded musicianship, giving teachers and students everything they would expect in a comprehensive pedagogical resource along with a chance to explore their potential, push their boundaries, and broaden their horizons. Each piece has been carefully selected to ensure an expansive representation of musical styles from all eras. Students will encounter standard repertoire from well-known composers as well as exciting contemporary works from North America and around the world.
'Orchestral Excerpts' is a unique compilations designed to introduce the younger flute student to the world of orchestral repertoire while offering more advanced players the essential selections they will invariably need for auditions. This single volume spans a broad spectrum of musical development, from elementary (Level 2) to the Associate Diploma level. From Dvorak and Haydn to Debussy, Prokofiev, Beethoven, and Stravinsky, students can explore both familiar and less familiar works to grasp a better understanding of the flute's role within the orchestra.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
