Various :: Sparklers
Paula Robison's collection of Sparklers offers an elegant dessert tray of fin de siecle treats from the Golden Age of Piccolo showpieces and two transcriptions from Kreisler's best-loved violin gems. Robison includes her own notes on the repertoire and performance suggestions for each of the pieces. Piccoloists many now enjoy one book that includes Eugene Damare's charming La Tourterelle, Fritz Kreisler's Tambourin Chinois and Schon Rosmarin, Ernesto Kohler's Danse des Pierrots, and Terzen-Polka (for two piccolos) by Franz Behr. For advanced performers.
