Various
The Boosey Woodwind Method provides everything you need for teaching music through the flute, from beginners to Grade 3. Its unique approach develops general musical skills through a programme of quality solo and ensemble music, with additional activities and an audio CD. Because the method is based on a clear curriculum, it provides an easy to use system for teaching plus all the flexible resources you need for every situation, whether individual, group or mixed instrument teaching.
- For individual and group teaching
- A complete instrumental curriculum
- Develops technique and musicianship
- Quality music for solo and ensembles
For each instrument, there is a suite of books providing an integrated teaching and learning resource encompassing two method books, two supplementary repertoire books, keyboard accompaniments, and ensemble material.
The Flute Repertoire: Book B includes easy pieces for beginners, including music from different styles, cultures and times - classical, pop, jazz and world music. It can be used with stages 1-6 of the Boosey Flute Method Book 2, or as a repertoire book by any beginner player.
Great for introducing children to an all-round approach to music making ..... the music is varied in style and genre and could be adapted for mixed-instrument groups if necessary. All in all an exciting and innovative method.
