Various
Now in a fourth printing, Mary Karen Clardy s The Flute Etudes Book continues to gain recognition after a decade in print. Selections in Volume II challenge both musical and technical development of the advanced flutist, with expansion of range, virtuosity, and the artistry necessary for mastery of the etudes. Composer biographies are also included, providing historical context for style and phrasing decisions, with performance and practice hints included in the Introductions to the Etudes section.
