International Music Company presents Antonio Vivaldi's 'Concerto in G Major, RV 437' for flute and piano edited by Jean-Pierre Rampal.
The flute concerto 'Il Cavallo', or 'the horse' was written in by Vivaldi in 1729. It must have been a very genteel, well-behaved horse that Vivaldi had in mind. The horse is most characterized by the up and down motion provided by the jumping octaves, sixths and fifths through out the first movement. The flute happily dances around this structure in the string instruments. The pastoral air of the middle movement brings to mind Vivaldi's writing in the slow movements of his concerto 'La Notte.' The third movement is unusual in that it entirely features the flute with accompanimental strings, with no orchestral ritornellos.'

For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
