Universal Edition presents 'Walzer Nr. 2 [Waltz No. 2]' by Dmitri Shostakovich, arranged here for flute and piano by Rien de Reede and Bert Mooiman.
The famous Shostakovich Waltz is immediately recognized by audiences, having also appeared in multiple motion pictures, such as Eyes Wide Shut (Kubrik) and most recently Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. This new arrangement by de Reede and Mooiman, for flute and piano, is not technically demanding for either performer and will be a welcome addition to the recital or concert program.
