Weber, CM :: Overture to Euryanthe
Publisher: Lombardo Music
Editor: Lombardo, Ricky (arr)
Lombardo Music Publications presents 'Overture to Euryanthe' by composer Carl Maria von Weber, arranged here for expandable flute choir by Ricky Lombardo.
Lombardo writes about this piece, 'Overture to Euryanthe' is a fine example of literature from the Romantic Era. The operatic story is based on a 13th century romance. Only the overture is regularly played today. This arrangement is quite technical with numerous tempo and dynamic changes throughout. This publication will be a challenge to master when taken up to speed. It will take a great deal of work and definitely give your ensemble a stimulating challenge. Flute choirs will find this a great addition to their library and very usable for many performance situations. Enjoy!
