Wood, D :: Valse-Caprice

Wood was principle flutist of the London Symphony Orchestra in the early 20th century, and wrote the Valse-Caprice in 1909. Flutists may be familiar with his still-popular method, Studies for Facilitating the Upper Notes of the Flute.
