'Divertimento' refers to a kind of instrumental suite originating in the middle of the 18th century. Most of the forms of 'divertimento' known today are composed of 4-10 comparatively short movements, and Yagisawa's is no exception at 6 colorful vignettes in a variety of sounds - mixed-meter perpetuos, meditations, arias, and the like.
