Yamaha Flute 500 Series - Professional (New)
The Yamaha Professional Series showcases qualities found in Yamaha’s top of the line handmade flutes. This results in a rich, resonating professional sound while providing flexibility to a wide dynamic range. The professional series features a hand-finished Type A headjoint that is based on the design of the Handmade Series, offering an immediate response within all registers. The professional series 600 and 700 are equipped with Straubinger Phoenix pads (similar to Straubinger Pads in the Handmade Series) allowing for a lighter touch, consistent seal, and longer life span.
The Yamaha 500 series features a silver-plated body with a hand-finished sterling silver Type-A headjoint. The advanced flutist will be able to enhance their professional sound by projecting a wheel of warm colors while maintaining excellent balance over the 500's range. The 500 introduces a pinless left-hand key system that improves the operation of high F/F#, and results in easier maintenance.
