Yamaha Flute 600 Series - Professional (New)
The Yamaha Professional Series showcases qualities found in Yamaha’s top of the line handmade flutes. This results in a rich, resonating professional sound while providing flexibility to a wide dynamic range. The professional series features a hand-finished Type A headjoint that is based on the design of the Handmade Series, offering an immediate response within all registers. The professional series 600 and 700 are equipped with Straubinger Phoenix pads (similar to Straubinger Pads in the Handmade Series) allowing for a lighter touch, consistent seal, and longer life span.
The Yamaha 600 series features a sterling silver tube with a wall thickness of 0.43mm. This results in a warm, deeper sound while giving the lower register a powerful quality. With the tubing thicker than the 500 series models, the 600 pairs well with anyone who naturally uses a lot of air. The 600 is ideal for flutist looking to advance their musical career, or doublers who want a refined sound with an easy response.
The Yamaha Professional 600 Series flutes offer the following common features:
- Sterling silver hand-finished Yamaha Type Am headjoint
