Zaninelli, L :: The Nightingale
Publisher: C Alan Publications
C Alan Publications presents 'The Nightingale ('L'Usignolo')' for piccolo and xylophone by composer Luigi Zaninelli.
The composer writes about this piece, ''The Nightingale' is a work for piccolo and xylophone. In writing this work, it was my intention to share with others my personal feelings about these two instruments. The bravura virtuosity of these instruments can be easily found in countless works. However, I have always been intrigued by their ability, when expertly played, to be warmly lyrical and evocative.'
