Billaudot Editioins presents Thierry Escaich's Concerto pour flute in this reduction for flute and piano by Pierre Thibout. This work was commissioned by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and premiered on September 3, 2021 by Josephine Olech on flute and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Lahav Shani.

The concerto is written for C flute doubling alto flute, making this a unique work. It is extremely virtuosic and should be considered by those advanced and professional players. It is written in three movements and has a duration of around 21 minutes.
